           Little Lambs Preschool

 

Thank you for your donations to L.E.A.F. (Lutheran Education Assistance Fund).  Families have been encouraged by that fund to enroll their children in Lutheran schools, where their Christian teaching is reinforced.  This year we have 11 applicants, including five in elementary schools, four at Walther High School, and two in Lutheran colleges.   Your continued support is greatly needed.

Thanks for your donations to our Cartridges for Kids program, which recycles cell phones and used ink cartridges (inkjet, laser, fax, and copier) as well as video games, iPods, PDAs, DVD movies, digital cameras,GPS systems, and laptops.   Thanks so much!

Thank you also for saving Campbell’s labels for Little Lambs this past year.  Please continue to save the UPCs so that we can redeem them for needed  equipment.  We also still continue to collect Tyson A+ labels and stamps from the Family Bookstore.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO SAVE THESE ITEMS:

  • Library Stamps from Family Bookstores.  When you make a purchase at the Family Bookstore, be sure to ask for their Library stamps. If you ask for the stamp book, you can put the stamps there so that they don’t get lost.
  • Campbell’s labels; the symbol on the label tells you which part to save.  Do not save only the fronts of the labels; save the UPC or the entire label.
  • Tyson box flaps that have the Project A+ symbol on them. 
  • Ink cartridges, DVD movies, video games, iPODs cell phones, digital cameras, and cell phones.

Our chapel offerings last year were sent to the Barnyard Buddies Program of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  The executive director wrote in his thank you, “Thank you for sharing with other children who have very little,  Your kind gift helps these children know that they are Jesus’ little lambs too!  Whenever I sing my favorite hymn, I’ll think of the kids you helped and I’ll think of you—“I am Jesus’ little lamb…For my Shepherd gently guides me, knows my need and well provides me, loves me every day the same, even calls me by my name.”

Our school has been very blessed with the children and families it serves and with the generous support of so many of you.  Your donations have helped Little Lambs to continue to reach out to the community with the love of Jesus.
